Unable to contact World Benefits with the number they gave me 1-800-799-0090

consumer complaints has been contacted by the owners of the company, they said those who have asked for refunds should see them no later than Monday morning or sooner. Credit to your account can takes 4 to 5 days to actually hit your account,
They again apologized for the delay. We'll see. Consumer complaints is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will. SO you know, consumer complaints has confirmed 73 refunds so far, and we know there should be many more. Consumer complaints is investigating more on this situation, and we will be posting an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address https://usacomplaints.com/view.Asp? Id=76605

I received a phone call regarding a credit card offer that required a one time payment of $299.00 that included no annual fees and a 9% APR from an organization call World Benefits.

After giving them my info and a date that i felt comfortable for the payment to occur, they assured me that I could contact them if I wished to postpone or cancel the transaction at 1-800-799-0090.

The line used to be busy when I would call, but now I get a message saying it's no longer in service. Is there some other number or method of effectively contacting them so that i can cease the transaction before it happens, because personally I feel that they've been shady in the way they've conducted themselves and am having serious doubts about if and when the transaction happens if i'm not able to get a hold of them, they'll also give me the run around in getting my money refunded.
