Carrie everhart beware! Shawnee acres! Horse abuse / drugging / rip-offs!

Carrie Everhart of Shawnee Stables is NOTHING but a liar. She druggs, then misrepresents her horses, and she does NOT keep her word. We purchased a horse from Carrie at Shawnee Acres several months ago. When we first looked at the horse, he was calm and gentle. Carrie promised us, that if we bought the horse from her, if for any reason the hore did not work out, that she would refund our money. Once our new horse got home, he got crazier and crazier. We had blood work drawn, and it was found that Carrie was infact drugging her horses to make them behave. The horse also was found to have high doses of pain killers in his system. Shorty after the drugs wore off, and the horse went lame. We called Carrie for weeks requesting the refund that she promised. She never returned any of out phone calls. We trusted Carrie Everhart, and she lied to us. She sold us a drugged horse, and she did not honour her promises.
