New Ulta Opening Greenville, NC

Recently a new Ulta opened in my area in Greenville, NC. I normally make purchases online with them and I was happy to actually get my items right then and there without shipping costs. When I visit the first time, I noticed I was not welcomed with the welcome greeting. (Welcome to Ulta.) I asked a sales associate a question and she seemed like I was a bother. Immediately spoke with a manager I believe her name was Julie. She seemed apologetic gave excuses for the rude behavior, stating because it was a new store it was hectic. Only 4 people were in the store. I went there on another visit 8-5 hoping things would be diffrent. Again no greeting. Not a busy day only a few people in the store. I browse wasn't asked it ineeded anything. Near the register I notice a product (Urban Decay Primer Potion) with a tag of $9.00. I go to the register to confirm. The cashier states" Well if it says $9.00 then its $9.00 in a very rude manner. Julie is standing right beside the cashier. Cashier rings the item it says Oh its 18.00 but the tag on it says $9.00 she tells Julie and Julie states well someone put all of those in the wrong space and I can't let you have it. Which I think was totally wrong. I had a few things in my hand and because of the way the manager handle the situation I told her that I didn't want to purchase the rest of my items. Situations like these can mean the diffrence between an unsatisfied customer and a repeat buyer. I was very dissapointed at the customer service of this store. First impressions mean everything. This is a new store and already getting negative feedback. I will not be purchasing from this chain again. I can take my buisness elsewhere. I've worked in retail and never would treat a customer as I was treated.
