Avoid this RIP-OFF Place - Inspection

I went to Monro Muffler/Brake, 2139 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, NY to get my car inspected. To my surprise, the Service Tech. Began thorough inspection especially around the brakes and shock absorbers looking for defects - He removed all four tires, kept banging the tires with a hammer. Etc. Etc. I asked the Manager J. Cortez what was his technician upto, cause I did not come for a brake and suspension job, but for a Road Inspection fitness test, which my car could pass blindly. However he kept showing me his licence and proclaiming himself as honest and blaming other Auto Shops, who don't do it the right way. They issued a report citing Service Brake, Tires and Wheel Fasteners, Steering, Suspension and Chassis frame as a reason for Failure, when the car has never been driven long since the last inspection. They figured they could rip me off with the repairs, while failing the inspection. On top of that, they were rude, arrogant and seemed to care a damn what the customer is going through. I would keep away and Warn others from my bitter experience to avoid this Store at any cost. Pass them by if you have to unless you want to get ripped off.
