Beyblade Packaging

Hi, I have no issues with the beyblades themselves (other than my son being obsessed with them), however I find the packaging is very difficult to remove.in the Beyblade Metal Fusion pack there is a screw that forms the top of the beyblade and holds the whole thing together. For some reason it is encased seperately in a thick plastic with a sticky contact like film on the top. I recently stabbed a hole in my thumb as the only way I can remove this plastic is with a sharp knife. My son, not learning from my experience decided to open the second packet without my help and I caught him just before he sliced his hand open. Is there really a need for all this plastic coating over everything? Excited children won't always wait for their parents to help, and sooner or later there will be a more serious injury!
