Robbed without a gun

I recently moved from a house that I rented for almost two years and was interested in the home buying program with the renting office. However, due to my husband losing his job and only finding part time work, we decided to move just in case if things got worst we would be able to hold our heads above water.

We moved on February 28th after giving our 30 day notice on February 7th. We turned in our keys March 7th to Service Specialties ll, Inc. Property Management in Mount Clemens.

THE PROBLEM: today March 30 we received a letter titled Damage Report for Property. We are not rich, we are just getting by. We are not nasty, we are raising two young ladies. I looked though the envelope, but no check... Service Specialties have listed a lot of 'damages' that are false. I have before and after pics., thank God.

I had my parents, my little cousin, my sister in law, my daughter and my husband help me clean that house from the front to the back. I didn't expect the whole deposit back, but I sure as heck didn't expect them to roll these numbers around to keep the WHOLE thing.

I am very sick about this and do not know what else to do. Please BEWARE! When you are renting anything, take pictures for your own protection. Next step is court, hopefully this will not get drawn out, I need our money because it belongs to us and it is too hard out here to give away over $1200!
