Promised to pay expenses to no prevail

I had contacted this company thur an online add. They had called me several times to discuss the position. They wanted me to come in for an interview.

Since I live in Ohio and they are located in Fairfax, VA. Obviously travel was needed. I had no trouble paying for the trip untill Jorge (apparently the only employee) didn't show up at his office.
I had gotten ahold of him on his phone and he said he had a flat tire, to please wait. After an hour of waiting I called him with no answer. I called 19 times that day.

After returning home, I sent an email to him with a list of expenses. He reply back saying he would issue a check and apologized to me. A week has gone by with no check. I contacted him and he now says I wasn't there, he's not paying and cussing at me.

This company is very unprofessional and urge everybody to keep their distance from this LIAR.
