Avoid Credit Solutions

Credit Solutions is a debt settlement company. We used credit solutions for over a year, paid thousands of dollars in fees for their help settling our debt, it was a complete waste of time and money. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID.

Their job is to negotiate down your debt. “Negotiation” suggests we get a better rate than we would on our own. The rate we received from creditors in this program (50%) is equal to the rate we received from creditors outside of the Program on our own, despite all the “negotiation”. We’ve learned that generally when credit cards go to collection, they will normally offer to settle.

When we were sued by a creditor in the program their special “litigation” department did nothing on our behalf instead they instructed us to file a response officially in court.
They were not able tell us how to complete this form or even the form number.

Two years later we made the same decision we could have made when we started except we’ve wasted thousands of dollars with this service and we still have to hire a lawyer.

Needless to say AVOID this service at all costs.
