Michael Scott
Merchant Express Craiglist item

Miscellaneous

My name is Brandie and my 17 year old listed his PS3 game system on craigslist for sale in Florida. He recieved an email asking if the item was still available and he said yes. Then the email sent back went into great detail about him his name was Michael Scott a doctor in Utah wanting to purchase the item for full price plus an extra hundred and twenty for shipping and handling it was very detail right down to trusting the item is in working condition I am too busy to pick it up in person I am a doctor stationed in utah also that it was for his brothers birthday and would need us to ship it to him in Africa. Beware other reports on her are simiular and all seem to involve shipping the item to Africa. This had so many red Flags for me. The email from the Merchant Express Money Order People was odd to say the least. It demanded shipping the item today and no contact number for the company. I then googled the company and found a number to verify money order and when I tried to verify the money order with the ID number in the email it said can not find. So I of course did not ship the item. Please beware it also made no since that a Doctor from Utah would search Craiglist items all the way in St. Augustine, FL. Consumer's beware always pay attention to the red flags.
