After shopping for over 2 hrs and attempting to pay for our groceries with EBT card, clerk with drew the funds then printed out a receipt indicating that the balance was "O" and said we had no funds to draw towards the purchase. When we left the previous store 2 hrs earlier they gave us a receipt indicating our balance to be $243. But the cashier told the floor manger the account was empty which was true after she had scanned the card and took out the funds the first time then scanned the card again 2 more times thus bring up a "O" balance on the account. The floor manger said we needed to take the issue up with the previous store as to where our funds had gone. I reminded her this was a waste of time because they gave us a receipt indicating the proper balance when we left then came directly to Walmarts where they took the funds.

To make things worse the floor manger then told the clerk to delete the whole transaction and send us on our way. I told the manger what had happened in that the clerk had scanned the card and deducted the funds the first attempt and the other attempts indicated a "O" balance because you can only with draw it once after that nothing is left but the manger destroyed the records when she deleted the whole transaction. When I asked the store manager for the receipt showing the transaction time and clerk # he said the computer printer wouldn't print it out and he gave nor offer anything official that any transaction was attempted at all and threatened to call the police. Just a cover up of theft and after a total of 5 hrs of shopping and trying to resolve the problem the Walmart store manger sent us on our way with out our groceries and no food stamp allotment balance of $243. We have to drive 60 miles to the store but he had no problem telling us to come back tomorrow and see if the funds show up. I don't know where he buys his gas to run up and down the road like that but my husband and I are getting up in years on a limited income and can't afford it.
