To whom it may concern:
A very pleasant young girl came to my door selling magazines to help her towards her college and a scholarship.
We talked, as I looked at the magazine choices. I told her that both my husband and I were disabled with a lot of medical problems. And that were on disability, a set income.
She said that I didn't need to choose a magazine but, I could also make a donation towards her college and scholarship goal.
Well, I thought, I might as well get a magazine out of it, if I'm paying.
So, I did finally choose a magazine. Put down $10.00 cash and she said there would be a balance due of $10.00. I said that we would have to wait till we got paid at the end of the month.
She said that would be fine. So I did purchase a money order for the amount of $10.00. But before I filled it out something told me to go to the computer and search this company to see if there was really a physical address with a phone number.
I was shocked to reveal on what showed up. I saw all these complaints saying that the company Flo Rd Agency, Del Ray Beach, Florida was a Rip Off.
In fact it said that it was Fraud and the biggest rip off ever.
So, I'm so glad that I didn't fill out the money order and went to my computer and checked this all out. They definitely will not be seeing my balance.
I may have donated $10.00, but hopefully it was put to good use.
Always check everything out first. At least it was only $10.00.
Oh, this has happened before to us. Same company. Put down $10.00 and I just simply forgot to pay the balance. But as I see it now, it happened for the best. This happened in 2009 when we were living at an apartment complex.
Now we live in a nice house and its so much better.
Well, I have to go now and take my meds.
