Debited my account without authorization

I was just looking over my bank statement online and noticed an out of sequence check number. When I did an image of this check, that is when I realized that I had been scammed. I called the number on the check and got an answering service. I did get another number, spoke with someone and they said it was a cross-error and my account would be refunded within 4 days.
