Illegal transactions on my debit/credit card

Recently noticed multiple transactions on my banking statement from 4pbilling.com. Made the mistake of purchasing 90% of my Christmas gifts online this past season and this must by the result. First transaction 99cents, second transaction 4.99, third transaction 44.99 fourth transaction 100.00. Called my bank to dispute these and thankfully the customer service employee also found a transaction for 12cents and 1.09. They cancelled my credit card and put it on fraud alert but I had to wait until all transactions posted before I could receive credit. Waited a day or two and the $100 transaction disappeared however an $8 transaction and $4 transaction showed up along with 2 other transactions amounting to $1.12. Never heard of this company before and all my christmas purchases were paid for the same day. Just goes to show that you can never really make a secure purchase online. Lesson learned. Thankfully my bank temporarily refunds money in disputes. Now I just have to fill out all the paperwork to make it official... Anyhow, consumers have to be dilligent. Now I know that even working with secured websites you can get burned. Thankfully, the monetary amount was small to start when I noticed it. Would hate to think what could have happened if I didn't check my bank statement on a regular basis.
However, now I'm wondering how secure is my online banking...
In addition, I did check out the website and it's a third party website for payments. Guessing from the other communication on here it may be for porn sites, I don't know.
