Check Out Experience

I was checking out at the Sterling Va store on 19 Feb 11 (cashier #10) at approximately 1PM. At the conclusion of the transaction; I was about to walk away and I politely asked the young gentleman if he was in the habit of thanking the customer for their business. His reply to me was "they usually thank me". It's really quite sad that a customer would give a store their business and be treated so poorly. I'll certainly be shopping less at Target 's in the future.
