ADSF Collections
Advanced Fitness Laboratories Phishing - Telephone, attempted to collect money

Miscellaneous

Receive a call in the evening hours, 6:30 PM. Caller identified himself as Joby from ADSF Collections. He said he was attempting to collect an unpaid debt. The debt in question was for $80 from Advanced Fitness Laboratories. It was for a purchase made online on April 1. Joby had no details as to what product was purchased, but said that the company sold supplements. Toby would not provide a phone number for Advanced Fitness Laboratories. He said they could settle the debt and prevent a negative credit report by accepting a payment right now for $50. When we became insistent that we do not owe this money and never made the purchase, Joby said he would clear this off their records. An online search: http://800notes.com/Phone. Aspx/1-800-566-0794#p182480208505262205produced results that showed others with nearly identical experiences within the same time frame. Joby gave a call back # of 1-800-566-0794 x104, but I was unable to get a person to answer. This is obviously a phishing scam to obtain credit card information.
