Attn Torrance California city manager Donna Rizzo: Retired Torrance fire captain Dan McNeley is attempting to obtain Workmens Comp benefits, for an accident that happened outside the realm of his job. He is claiming that his knee injuries were from his years as a fireman and paramedic. He could not include his time as Fire captain, because all he did was sit at a desk, for the one year he spent as captain.By the way, he only spent a year as captain, because he was part of a large estate fraud that his wife Anne Marie McNeley and his mother in law, Catherine Romano committed, netting them a large amount of stolen money.

The real accident that caused his knee injuries was from a fall from a cliff, while he was on a Boy Scout outing with his son Sean McNeley. Doth myself and my wife were witness to him telling us the story of his fall of around eighteen feet, that severly injured his knees. If you check his emergency medical records you will be able to verify this accident.

He also informed myself and my wife that he was going to claim the injury was from his work as a fireman and paramedic, and after he retired was going to sue the city of Torrance for Workers Comp benefits, which he has already done.

We must stop this kind of fraud that Captain McNeley is trying to commit, alond with the fraud his mother in law and wife are also doing. It is critical to the economics of our state of California.
