We have spent two days trying to purchase a Military round trip ticket... Have gotten nothing but the run around... Shuffled from one phone number to another. My son who recenly returned from Afghanistan was trying to get home to see family for Christmas. So Itold him to go to the station (Lafayette, IN) and get the ticket. But they do not have an agent, so he was told to purchase his ticket online... And was given the appropriate information. So when he tried to purchase his ticket online... The site indcated that he had to purchase his ticket over the phone. So we called (three way line) to purchase his ticket over the phone. From there we were told he couldn't purchase his ticket over the phone, they could mail him a ticket... But this would require 10 days notice... He wanted to leave after his Guard duty on Monday (this is Thursday night). So then they said I could purchase the ticket and send it to him (for $18 more of coarse)... And was given yet another number to call (to My local agent). However They are closed at this time, so I call first thing Friday morning... But even if I purchase the ticket and have it overnighted there is no guarantee he will get it before he leaves for his duty weekend. So I call customer service and was given the run around by them as well. We were told last night that he could get on the bus and then purchase a ticket at the next open station, so I wanted to make sure he could use his visa debit card to do this... But was then told through customer service that he had to pay the driver cash and that there wad no guarantee that there would be room on the bus for him because he didnt have a ticket in advance... And it was possible he wouldn't be able to travel after standing and waiting for the 545am bus. My son has Proudly Served his country... I am not PROUD of the SERVICE he has received from Gray Hound!
