I took on a position at Salon 505, proudly taking with me 30 successful years of experience as a hairdresser and chemical specialist.

The 1st couple of months looked promising for a future with the company, though in April, more hairdressers were hired to accomodate the misscalculated number of projected new clients to be distributed amongst the now existing 15 stylists, [which all felt threatened also], to make it appear busy.

Business was promised to be directed to seniority; rules were unjustified and business was directed to the newly hired.

May 9th, my best friend, my father passed away in Connecticut. After coming back to work, to Tx., after such a hardship, grieving became more difficult. The endless threats, continued domination, etc.

The owner instructed the managers to hire 5 more to replace those who had quit in my absence. With the now trickle of client/customer distribution, the pressure increased. They were booked and I was not.
I submitted a request for meeting with all the managerial staff, stating the importance of business to seniority first, and my lack of pay, commision only basis. They were fully aware of my position when I obtained residence within walking distance from the salon, since my car is still in Colorado. (Long story: Ask)
I feel it was intentional manipulation on their part to "support and feed" the new guy most of the business as a form of "MOBBING". Look it up: "Psychological Abuse in the Workplace, by Robyn Mann and also: Mobbing, by Noa Davenport.

I have witnesses, collegues, friends, Pastoral Care Ministry and circumstancial evidence to this complaint. Before I suffered sleepless nights and a very-near nervous breakdown, I resigned on December 11. Please call in person, if you may. I cannot make clear of the pain on "paper", as I can "in person".

Please help me for closure on this matter and stop this owner Sharon Baldeschwiler from further hurt. Out of the $50 they charge for a haircut, I get $16 before tax. Speak with my support system, upon your request. This torment is real! Help! Respectfully...
