I worked for Small Scholars Learning Center, LLC from 03/29/10 thru 07/02/10 handling their payroll for all employees. I was one of those employees during this time frame. I was not paid any payroll checks, I resigned, filed a complaint with Labor & Industry. Finally rec'd a third of what was actually owed to me from Labor & Industry on 12/20/10. I deposited the check that was written from Small Scholars Learning Center, LLC to me, Theresa, Mount Pocono, PA and then today, in the amount of $591.00 and today when I called my bank to get my checking account balance, was told, that the $591.00 check deposited on 12/20/10 was returned for "uncollected funds". This was a payroll check that I've been waiting to get paid for being a employee from 04/10 thru 07/02/10 and this check is not "good, its uncollectable funds". This has caused by account to be overdrawn and fees being charged to me account for this. What does a person have to do, to get their legal payroll monies that are do them.
