I was 64 yrs. Of age when necessity forced me into a refinance of my home. Extenuating circumstances thereafter again forced me into 3 more refinances in less than 2 yrs. The first refinance was due to my Air Conditioner needing a replacement. I was working in elder care and had to keep a measure of safe temperatures in my home which I worked out of. That was the beginning of my current nightmare of predatory lending and fraud being perpetrated against me. I was solicited by a company who lied from the start to the finish of the first refinance. They became aware, I was between a rock and hard place over the Air Conditioning situation and took serious advantage of me with that knowledge. No sooner was the air conditioner replaced then due to the Unit being installed improperly, it literally shook my house to it's foundation. Cracked every ceiling and almost every wall in my home. My insurance company required an engineer to come and assess the damage. The engineer determined the Air Conditioning Company was at fault and my insurance company denied any responsibility for coverage of the damage.
