Inaccurate information reported on Business Report for Amerifund Smart Homes, Inc. (Company ID 85000767). Discrepancies listed below: Your information is incorrect: I happen to work for AmeriFund Smart Homes, I am a good friend of the owner Russell J. Massro. We are and have been primarily in the Loan Modification Business and were in the top 10 listed on the DRE Website when is all started, as a licensed Real Estate Broker, and with the DRE's approved advance fee agreement. We have been in close contact with the DRE since the day we started doing Loan Modifications and have followed to the letter their guidelines. We have outside companies that handle other services e.G. Credit repair, credit counseling, lender liability lawsuits etc... Our grade is a mis-representation by the BBB who does not have a clue what Amerifund Smart Homes does or services offered. The BBB is incompetent and should not be in the position to "Slander" or "Mis-Represent" their "Members" in any way. The members pay the bbb for support not slawnder or mis-representation. I was once a bbb back when they looked after their members, now they are no better than the "ripoff report" and other companies like them - the bbb is no longer a company that can be trusted by me because they do not and will not back their allegations - amerifund is in a very complicated and difficult business, loan modifications are decided in the end by the lender, we simply do are best to represent our clients and give them the best chance to get a "loan modification" - also we are not in the "credit repair business" like the bbb has publicly noted. We have a reputable company who handles all credit repair services, we simply refer the business to them. We have requested cancellation of our membership and to be removed from the bbb's website, they have refused this request. The bbb does not care how many clients we have helped and even saved their homes, only the few complaints that they have received, i'm now taking this complaint to our legal department where it will be heard.
