I have had a Lowes credit card for over 15 to 20 years. I had thought that I had a good credit card until today. I am a customer that pays my bills on time. During the month of Feb I did not receive my monthly payment. I received my monthly payment for the month of March and it showed me past due one payment. As soon as I got the bill I mailed a pmt. It seems that the credit department felt it was not soon enough. They called my home and said if I did not make the payment they were going to put a late charge on me. All these years I have been on time and one time I did not make a payment and they call to threathen me with a late pmt. I am very disapointed. What makes me so upset is I miss one pmt and Lowes is ready to start ruining my credit. How about going after the people who make no payment and also review my payment record to determine if I am a regular offender. Basiscally after all these years of making my payments on time it has no bearing on what type of integrity I have. Lowes you just lost a customer and many more. I have passed this on to many people and told them that getting a credit card with lowes is not to there advantage. I made my payment and even an advance payment as a result of this. When paying my past payments I was paying more than the mimimum. For all practical purposes Lowes you can take your credit card financial management branch and put them wher the sun dont shine. I used to feel a sense of great customer service and honor in being one of your customers. I definetly do not share that interest today. Go after the customers that make none of there payment rather than one that misses one every ten years. I am the one keeping you in business not the one that does not make any payments.
