Peebles Store
Using my invalid mother-in-law's debit card

Miscellaneous

I have been a customer of this store for more than 13 years—at least. Every sales person in this store knows me or my face. I am there once a week and sometimes w / my 83 year old mother-in-law. I realize there are rules and regulations that must be adhered to, and would have never asked—except that your employees have accepted the card &without asking &on previous occasions. They know that I take care of her and do her shopping, and that we appreciate the fact, that you have open isles that her wheelchair and enter easily. Miss Georgia, who has waited on us numerous times, refused to take the card when I told her that it was my mother-in laws. She called Miss Ivory, who again refused. I gave them "MY" debit card and paid for the merchandise—and never once was asked to see my identification. Had I never been there, I would not have been offended. After 13 years, I am offended. I came home and explained the situation to my husband who called the bank to make me "an official person to the account." This problem should not have occurred, but now you are out of a very good customer &and my mother-in-law, and I am out of one of my favorite stores. I am 60 years old and I expect an apology.
