Applebees poor service

We went to the Applebees restaurant in Newton, NJ on Oct. 26 at around 5 P.M. We were seated promptly and told what the special was and the drinks featured and that our waiter would be right with us. We sat there for 15 min. And NO one came to even take our drink order. We've gone there quite a few times and never had any problem, what happened? It shouldn't take that long to get a drink order or for the waiter to come to the table. I was very disappointed.
