Notebook Failed Again After Repair and Return Weeks Before Grad School Ends

I purchased a notebook computer for my daughter to use in May for grad school. It stopped working in Oct & was returned supposedly fixed after 4 weeks. It is now not working & has been sent for repairs might be returned in 3-4 weeks. The last semester of grad school starts in one week. I cannot even reach a person to talk to about this—I think they should refund our money or give her a loaner.
