TV no picture

I purchased a Polaroid Tv and Dvd combo model 1913-TDXB less than 2 years ago for 600.00 and it has no picture only sound. The book has no trouble shoot in it, so I called support as web site has none also. They had me unplug set then turn back on. Then stated internal problem and would sell me another for 225. With no shipping, like I am that stupid and would ever buy another product from Polaroid with such bad support and not even last 2 YEARS!
