Inc. Tagteam rip off salespeople at door, two checks cashed, no magazines

These kids tagteamed our apartment building, with both selling subscriptions to aid a trip to some exotic place (hard to remember being it was TWO YEARS ago).
Anyway, they weren't much younger than us, so we invited them in and talked for a while. I bought one subscription from both of them, a total of $73.88.
The checks were cashed 11 days later, and I haven't heard a thing since. I even have the origianl receipt from them, but suprise, there's no phone number on it.
