Unauthorized card charg

It is somewhat embarrassing to write this report-but hopefully it will save someone from making the same mistake I did-as most of you probably already know the latest rage on the Internet are penny auctions-being curious I want to Buy Low Auctions.com, and purchased $8.40 in points, used to bid-after watching several items and placing a few bids I decided it was not for me-I left their website without making any purchases, and never returned to it-low and behold a charge to my debit card on 10/20 of $84.16-now as I said I did not purchase anything, so of course never received anything from the-here's the problem, it was a debit card not a credit card which of course I could have stopped payment on or at least disputed-I have called their customer service number, so far no response-to make a long story short never, never give your credit credit, or debit card information to anyone that you are not absolutely sure of-for that matter any personal information other than your name could get you into trouble-I should have known better I buy and sell online so am aware of the danger-it just seemed so innocent, I mean, a penny auction, for the love of Pete-be careful folks!
