American First Financial Collection fraud, reselling a 250.00 vacuum for 3,000, scammed, not paying any more

Well in 2000 my husband was conned into buying a Kirby. Well it's now almost 2004. Just this last summer a man named Mickey Brown decided to scam quite a few people in the Albany, OR. Area out of a lot of money.

The kirby's were bought or won at home shows all over different areas of Oregon. $250.00 was what he got them for and he was selling them to people like my husband, for as low as $1000, to as high as $3000. I seen his story on the news and in our local paper. My brother-in-law sold vacums for this man. He found out about the scam part of it thru the pastor of his church.

Needless to say they continue to send me bills for this vacum. Total amount left to pay according to them $784.75 I've asked this Mr. Huges to stop bothering me but to no avail. Now when I hear the recorded voice on my phone I hang up.

It's not Kirby in general, I hate pestie sales people! I am not sending any more money to these people. They can bitch all they want. Please investigate and let me know what happens. I will have a JAG officer take care of this matter if I have to get nasty. It's nice to have military lawyers on hand. Thanks
