Craig Bentham wouldn't accept paypal wanted direct wire

I ordered some socks off the interenet and provided a paypal account for payment. I received a call a couple hours later and a gentleman said he did not trust me so he would not use my paypal I would have to direct wire money to him for the order. I offered to use a credit card and he said no because he did not trust me. He said that if I didn't wire the money he would consider the order cancelled and charge me a 20% "per the website". I called the number he provided when he sent me the wire transfer info and he was VERY rude. He wanted to know what I wanted - before I even told him who I was. He said that if I called again he would get me for harassement. What I wanted to know was why he was having this wire transferred to an account with a personal name on it and not a company. He told me his name was Chris. I asked to talk with Craig - he wouldn't let me. He then sent me an e-mail and said that he would get proceed with other avenues to get his monies. (Nothing has even been sent to me)
Below is the last line of his e-mail:
In addition please do not slander our company or we will use your liable statements in a court of law and sue you for character assignation thanks again.
So beware of this company.
