Constant loud beeps from busses at new bus stop

A few weeks ago the bus stop at 68th street and 1st ave in Manhattan was moved one block south to 67thy street & 1st ave. This is a terrible idea for many reasons. 1. Every time the bus stops to pick up people there are 4 loud beeps. When they exit there are three beeps. When the bus stop was on 68th st. Now one was annoyed by the sound because there is a park across the street and no houses. 2. There is a bus shelter on 68th st. Where people can sit and are protected from the weather. There is no room for a shelter on 67th st because Con Ed gratings on the sidewalk. 3. People going to the hospital in wheel chairs and the like now must cross a busy street because Sloan Kettering and Memorial Hospital are a block north! 4. People catching the crosstown bus must now cross two streets as opposed to just one. I work at home and the constant noise keeps me from my work and sleep. We beg MTA to put the bus stop back where it was and save all of us pain and anguish.
