St. Croix Concepts, 4 Fifty 8 Acquisitions or should I say Joe Tanksley's Puppets. I worked for this company for 2 weeks would have loved to work a 3rd but I got sick due to the early getting up to be at the job on time and only to find out that this company is a total scam.
I was supposed to get paid but the President of the company Mr. Joseph Tanksley refused to give me my pay check due to a criminal record that he found 10 days after I started working there. I was told that because I had 2 worthless checks that were paid off back in 2005 on my criminal record he was not going to give me my paycheck. First question, Arent employers supposed to do a background check on the potential employee before they offer them the position? Second question, Since when did a persons criminal record have anything to do with them being paid for their hours and hard work they put in at the job? Thats illegal right?
I called Mr. Tanksley personally to talk to him about this situation and he just acted down right irrate. He began cursing at me and yelling at me not only did he do that he lied and said that he gave me a paycheck and that I came down to his office on Sunday August 22 and picked it up. First of all, most businesses arent open on Sunday and Second of all I never got a check from him and he has no documents to prove that. So at this point Im going to every extreme to show the world and to prove that Joseph Tanksley and his company 4 fifty 8 Acquisitions are a total scam. He doesnt believe in paying his employers for working.
Anyone that see's an ad about getting a job thru this company... Run run run!
