Diamonds Are Cheaper Ranch, Star Tails Lorna "purchased" a horse on a payment plan and has never paid one dollar in an entire year, defaulted on a Small Claims judgment, and then abandoned the horse at a boarding facility

On October 29, Lorna Lourenco "purchased" a horse from me on a payment plan. The contract is very specific and air tight. She took the horse back to her property 80 miles away. She has never paid even ONE DOLLAR of the amount owed. After multiple attempts to work with her, re-write the contract, and take items in trade for the amount owed, I gave up on that. I filed with Small Claims Court. She evaded my process server for 6 weeks requiring an extension for the court date.in May my case was heard; Ms. Lourenco did not show up. The judge heard my case and awarded me a judgment plus additional finance fees. Ms. Lourenco did not respond.in July I began a phone calling campaign to get a response from Ms. Lourenco.instead of paying the money owed, she responded that I would not get my money, and that she is broke. She then proceeded to take the horse to a private boarding facility, drop the horse off in a random stall, and drive away. She has defaulted for nearly a year on the debt she owes and has now committed animal abandonment. She presented as very normal, very honest, and appeared to have good intentions when she signed the contract and took the horse. She is dishonest and will stop at nothing to get her way. She owes me $2900 plus additional fees awarded by the courts and the amount is growing every day.
