Left out to dry

I booked a mover 1 month in advance, confirmed by email, and contacted the day before for confirmation. The day of the move Dave calls me 30 min after he is suppose to be there to tell me he is not coming. He wouldnt give me a reason, gave me a bad number to another mover, then told me to rent a uhaul, and he would send help! He has never answered the phone since! No apology, or any kind of acknowledgement!!!
