Too much time

The restaurant was empty, except for those who were already eating. I placed my order and was told that they were short a few pieces, I said I would wait. The gal that took my order said that it would be about 17 min. I said that I would wait. 20 min. Later she offers me a drink and say's that it will be another 17 min.By the time I received my order it had been over 40 min. For a 12 piece grilled chicken. I'm sorry but this is considered to be a fast food restaurant. This is the second time that I have had an issue with this particular facility. I enjoy the chicken, but this not a good way to do business. Nothing else was offered to help offset the wait. Like a 16 pc. For the price of a 12 pc. I feel that customer service could have been handled a little better.
