Motel 6
Theft

Reserved 3 nights at this motel 6, when I arrived had to wait 30 minutes until room ready... I was too tired to care if minor things were wrong and I do not like to complain. That night noticed that the bottom of the entry door had a huge gap in which bugs were coming in, so I layed a towel to block it off... The a/c was good and cold, but there was an awful musty smell... Had to take benadryl, as I am sensitive to odors... in the morning wanted to take shower, - shower head did not work... No water coming from it... I figured that since I would be there a couple of days no big deal... Then on the 18th, as I was leaving around 10:30am, saw cleaning lady going door to door to clean/change etc. As I passed her, I stated that my room did not need anything and she could skip it. She said we like to check anyway... I am a very conservative person, and I made sure when I left, all lights were off... Tv off... All in order except the bed... And my personal stuff was secured in my zipped suit case... When I came back 3 hrs or so later, found room with light on, drawers had been opened and my suit case was unzipped... And I checked immediately to see if anything in my suit case was missing... And yup... My DSS, game and plug was gone. I contacted the front desk, who suggested that I missplaced it... Would check with cleaner what happened... Was later told was my word against hers that I had a DSS... I called Police and also Corporate office to complain and want results of this investigation. Don't hotels, motels do back ground checks on anyone who is employed? Especially cleaning staff? This is un-believable to think that there are still people who are working and are not trustworthy.
