Speaker's Blueprint

I signed up for Marquesa Petway's Speaker's Blueprint program after deciding that I wanted to go into public speaking. The cost was over $5k for the 12-month program so I expected to gain a lot from it. Unfortunately, this was not the case. You immediately gain access to a website with so much information that you hardly know what to do with. A lot of the information is recorded sessions; and the audio is not always clear. There are forms and pdfs that you could probably collect for free online, and some of the content is duplicated so it seems as if there is a lot of content but there really isn't.

The worst part of my experience however, and the primary reason for this post, was when I became financially incapable of continuing with the program. I shared this with Ms. Petway, and she refused to accept it, going as far as charging my credit card after I had cancelled my membership with her program. She indicated that it was part of an agreement we had but it was not. The most disappointing part of my experience was her lack of understanding. This is a person who is supposed to be a coach; and with that, I expected a measure of professionalism and empathy with regards to people's situation. This is the first review I've wrtitten, and I write it an an effort to forewarn anyone interested in joining this Speaker's Blueprint program. Get the terms and conditions of the program in writing before you join. I give Marquesa Petway's Speaker's Blueprint program a "needs improvement".
