Gifts Not Removed From Wedding Registry Lead to Duplicate Items

I am register on Wal-Mart wedding registry, however everyone that has purchased a gift for me from wal-mart it was not taken off of the registry, so now I have several of the same items, I do not think I should have to be given a hassle on these gifts without a receipt, and it should not go on my record of returning these without a receipt, since it was Wal-Mart's error, they were scanned at several different locations, and none was taken off.
