No Returns on Stale Food Items and No Policy Signs Posted

The stores policy is no returns on food items, although no where near the registers, or display tables of candy, jerky, spices, popcorn, etc. does it state "no returns". I bought some "Swedish Fish" they called them "trout" for my kids, they must have been on the shelf for some time. They were stale only a few dollars, but hard to believe a company of this size does not stand behind all the products they sell
