I wanted to get a cool Japanese kanji tattoo but was afraid to use the babelfish automatic translation. I also heard horror stories about people getting nasty kanjis written on them when they thought the meaning was something "better".

Found this company and they offer a free short translation in Japanese. I just had to link to them from my personal homepage. They also sent me the pdf file of it so I could pop it up on a forum and have some Japanese people check the accuracy.
