Good product!

I'm not sure what all the anger is about with MajicJack. When I got my Majicjack I plugged it in and it worked. It had a "000-000-0000" number until I regestered it, but it I worked right out of the box. Regestration took all of 5 mintues and I had my number. I called my mother within 10 minutes of getting it out of the box. There was a very slight sound deley, but playing with my computer settings took care of that. Voice quality is just as good as a regular land line. My Majicjack is plugged into my 6 year-old P3 desktop and it pulls it with no problems - even when surffing the net and downloading. HOWEVER, you do have to know what you are doing on a computer beacuse of the settings you may or may not have to tinker with. My hunch is most people complaining about it must not know how to set thier computer up, OR they are in an area that does not support this kind of phone service.
