FYE Backstage Pass
Fraud, deceptive practices

Miscellaneous

After seeing my bank account in a negative status I looked up the last transactions only to find a debit from "FYE*VIP" for $11.99. Yes, obviously my funds were already low as it was the day before payday. However, this fraudulent charge caused me to bounce a check and then incur both insufficient funds fee's as well as overdraft fee's. Im outraged. I called the customer service number and the lady (who sounded like she was in India) said she would be happy to cancel the service. I told her I never signed up for anything, and when she called me by my husband's name I realized what had happened. He must have said yes to some free trial of some sort and then this company captured the debit card number and began billing. I told her I would dispute with my bank and she said that was fine, as her legal department would verify he agreed to this. If this company is so legit, why do they have to backdoor people in order to get them to sign up for this bogus thing? We never recieved anything in the mail, or and discount card. So what the hell are they claiming we signed up for? This practice should be stopped! This is fraud, deception, and absolutely disgusting business practices. Im still going to dispute this with my bank! Please, do NOT sign up for any "Free Trials" EVER!!! (my husband got an earfull from me when he got home)
