Towed truck - wrongful towing

My husband parked our old truck in the drive of the house next door which has been abandoned for over 2 years. When I came home from work on the 10th of Dec. A truck was in the drive, and all the junk being taken out of the house. ALSO, Naff's tow truck was there, and I asked if they were towing our truck, and he rudely replied, yes it is on private property. He requested proof of ownership, I.D. Etc. I called the Middletown Police dept. And before they could get there he left with the truck and did not even let me get our proof of ownership. The Middletown P.D. Said he would have had to left the truck had they gotten there in time.
