Victimized Baby

I went to ABC Hardware to make a purchase, while at the checkout counter my 18month toddler was being held in my arms. My baby quickly leaned over to touch the counter, which is something that all toddlers do, before i could respond to his sudden movement he began screaming. He reached his hand out to me, blood was running down his hand. I looked down to see what he could have cut his hand on, and there was small glass particles on the counter. The employee rushed to pick up the glass particles to dispose of them, as i turned my attention to my child. Another coustomer in line witnessed the accident as well as the glass, he also tried to assist me with stopping the bleeding. I have a name, address, and a number to reach said witness. My son was rushed to the emergency room at Childrens Hospital. Where he received medical attention as well as 2 stiches. After leaving the hospital, I was able to get intouch with the store owner. Asking only for assistance with medical bill for E.R. Visit. After being interrogated, THe owner agreed to cover/reinburse me for any/all exspense related to my son's injury. After supplying owner with requested bill, the owner is playing a game called avoidance.
