Common part/7 day delay

Asked them to repair my 7 year old Kenmore refrigerator. Came same day. I told them when they arrived it would be the evaporator fan or control for it. Diagnosed as the fan. Replacement part at www.RepairClinic.com: $27.55.2nd day FedEx $18.

I was just told, 2 days after their visit, that the part "might be in this week".

$90 up-front charge and non-refundable.

This is Alabama and it's 85 degrees. No refrigerator. I built machinery for 30 years and was many times on 24 hour overseas repair call.

Having to wait 7 days for an exceedingly simple repair is NOT a way to do business.
