Drinking water tastes like dirt

The drinking water in the Shenango Valley tastes like mud. Rep from Aqua PA said it was from the algae build up in the water resevoir due to summer temps. Water temp must be about 45 to 50 degrees. He said it was a nature problem that isn't controllable. They feel in one to two weeks it will be corrected. How is that? It's only going to get warmer. I think that if the water is not drinkable people should be given discounted rates on water usage. It's pretty easy to raise rates for replacement of lines and meters but when the product is bad there is no recourse for return. Now I have to buy bottled water to drink for my family that includes two 2year olds. Now I have to buy bagged ice for drinks. This just doesn't seem plausible in 2010 with all the regulations.
