Eturning a pack of 10 socks, couldnot find reciept, however never been used, would not let me exchange for larger socks

I was trying to return a 10 pack of socks, they were to small fo3r any one except a baby. They refused to exchange without receipt that i carried in my car for a month. Without even trying to scan product so i could change for larger size. Very rude.
