Inappropriate childrens shows

I like for my children to be able to watch children's networks, but I have to constantly monitor what is playing on Nickelodean. I guess they could care less because they basically provide no contact info It is beyond shocking what they put on this channel! Constant references to SEX on Malcom in Middle. References to strippers and cross dressers on Everybody Hates Chris. Commercials that air during the day from Glenn Martin DDS that sound like a women having an orgasm. I try to shield my children and let them be kids why should children's channels be allowed to discuss things like sex? It seems so wrong? Isn't this something that a parent should decide? What about parents who have no time to monitor their children's TV, and we wonder why are kids have gone so astray!
