Ritz Conlyn Apartments didn't finish repairs, bug infestations

We will never rent from these people ever again. Me and my fiance moved into our apartment July. We originally looked at an apartment that was in good condition and seemed like it was ready for new occupants. The landlord told us that she would hold the place for us until we moved our stuff in. Well that was about a week into it, and all of a sudden we move into this small apartment that look like a box. When we first moved in, the bathroom was extra dirty, the tile on the floor was cracked & dirty, not to mention they put tile inside of the shower which was also dirty & cracked. There was a toilet bowl brush in there that was dirty and had paint all over it. Not to mention our sink was cracked and the water pressure was low. As the months went on, we experienced a lot of horrible things such as the bathroom ceiling caving in, the ceiling over top of the shower caving in due to a leak upstairs in someone else's apartment, their was mold growing out of the ceilings, our shower stopped working, the counter top in the kitchen area was loose and would move if you you touched it a certain way, and not to mention our carpets were and still are dirty, which now we have carpet beetles and bed bug infestation in there. It is not now late March, and we're ready to go, we're a young couple with a young son and we can no longer stay there anymore. We have tried to contact people from Philly Gardens and no one has been here to come to our aid. This company needs to be exposed for the fakes that they are and we want our money back. We stop paying rent this month as well and we refuse to pay them anything else until they give us a new apartment. I hope this report helps someone else and we get help too because we really need it.
