CAUTION - MobileStorm

We signed up for an account with mobilestorm (mobilestorm.com) because a few business associates of ours use them. Albeit, after this last situation they have informed me they will be canceling their accounts with them. We signed up for the trial logged in once or twice, never set it up, and have not logged back in since. We notified them via email on February 19th to please cancel the service. Low and behold our credit card was just recently charged.

We made a phone call to them and received a call back the following day. A women by the name of Debra Welan called back saying that had no notice that we wished to cancel. I explained that we most certainly did and requested AGAIN that the account be canceled and our money be refunded. She said she would call back shortly and let me know what can be done. She called me back and said that they would not offer a refund because they cannot find the notice. I explained to her that it was sent and she came back with we will credit you but not refund you. Why would I want a credit when I have already seen what their service is all about?

I told her we would perform a chargeback if the matter was not settled. Apparently her boss would not allow a refund. Keeping in mind this would be much easier considering a charge back will ultimately cost them more and the fact that they have left a terrible taste in my mouth for them and the few people that recommended me to them are leaving as well. I said to her make sure you cancel the account... instead of canceling the account she said I had to send an email, knowing full well how annoyed I was at the time.

I sent over the email and requested the refund again, and sent them a copy of the email requesting this. Well, they have just informed us that $125 is more important to them then a potential customer later becuase they will not refund it.

My personal opinion is to stay far and clear of MobileStorm, it's very clear and obvious from this situation that customer service is a no go there. I have reluctantly decided to make the post public because it appears that MobileStorm does seem to not care in my opinion.
